Between 2011 and 2014 these custom midi machines were made in collaboration with music producer Steve Mensink (aka Frits Wentink) and handy man Paulus van der Heijden (aka DJ+). These controllers were all handmade, custom built with premium laser-engraved wood and handselected knobs and sliders.
One of the designs we made was inspired by Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh, and was exhibited during the Grote 8 Expo in the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam in 2013. Very proud how these turned out.

Laser engraved birch wood, curled around two pieces of mahogany. It features 8 knobs and 24 faders, of which 16 motorised. Accompanied by a total of 94 buttons and 86 leds, of which 16 can be controlled by PWM (Pulse Width Modulation).
The machine was created for and displayed at the 'De Grote Acht Expo' in Amsterdam.
